Is Chinese New Year interesting？
Yes. I think Chinese New Year is very funny. But in the picture book《Chinese New Year》, it doesn’t seem like this. Lulu’s parents, cousin, uncle and aunt were busy playing with their mobile phones. They looked down into their hands all day. They paid little attention to Lulu and her grandpa. The Chinese New Year’s Eve was not funny at all. But at last, Lulu’s parents realized that they were wrong. All the family members put down their phones down.
From the story, I know we should spend more time with our family. At Chinese New Year, I love to stick couplets and let off fireworks with my parents. We make dumplings together. There are many kinds of dumplings, such as peanuts, vegetables and so on. I like sweetened bean paste best, because they are so sweet. On New Year’s Eve, we always have a big dinner happily.
