The Black Horse is the only book written by Anna Seville in the United States.It took her7 years to finish the book.The book describes the life of “black beauty”. The hero of the novel, "Black Beauty", is a beautiful and superior dark horse. He lives in an aristocratic family and eats good feed and he is trained well. Moreover, he is smart, witty, and brave, and both his master and his family like him very much.

But the good times did not last long, the master's home had a change, the black horse was forced to be sold, he was bought many times.During this time, he contacted all kinds of people: a drunk drunk.The layman who could not drive the carriage always held the reins tightly, and never gave the horse a little free room to move. People like him have no heart.

I like the chapter 5 best.It is full of happiness and warm. Jerry is very kind and honest.He treats the Black Beauty well.He never whips it.We should learn from him.He takes animals as their closest friends, protect them and love them.Many horses worked for mankind in very bad circumstances, and they were in a miserable situation, some horses were too tired, and some horses died because of a very cruel fashion.For example, in order to make their horses "more energetic", they cut their tail short, which was a common fashion at that time.

A horse is also an animal, no matter what animal he is, we should protect them, as the text says, we and the animals belong to a home together.This earth can not exist without animals and plants, nor without human beings.We and animals and plants are brothers and sisters, but now, we are killing our own brothers and sisters. How cruel we human beings are ? We should take good care of the animals and give the animals a beautiful home, rather than a home full of their own blood.
