            This winter holiday, I try to read English picture books for the first time.

            This is a jungle with tall trees and cool rivers. There are many lovely animals living here. They get along in perfect harmony. One day, two birds are standing in a tree by the river. They look at the sky, which turns orange. It turns out to be a big fire. The blue bird flies into the sky with water in his mouth. He tries to put out the fire with water. The pink bird is too frightened to move. The fire is too big and it burns everywhere. The birds feel desperate. At that time, a large flock of flamingos arrive. But the fire is still big and all the flamingos are tired. They fly away. Only the two birds are left again. After a while, the flamingos come back with a lot of elephants. Eventually, they stop the fire together. The life of the old days is restored in the jungle.

            The blue bird in this story is very brave. It makes me feel ashamed ，because I have always been timid. What is more touching is that the animals unite together and overcome the fire.
