In the winter holiday, I read an interesting book 《The big fire》.

There are all kinds of animals in the jungle,they live a happy life. One day,a big fire breaks the peace, the animals get scared. A little blue bird brings some water with his beak to stop the fire, but the water is not enough ,he fails.

The little blue bird asks a flamingo for help, then the only flamingo asks all the flamingos to come here, they fly around and feel tired. but the fire is still big. they fail.

The little birds are very sad. Soon, the flamingos fly back with lots of elephants with them.

Now, the little birds, the flamingos and the elephants are together to stop the fire. Finally, they succeed.

The story is so exciting, and I’ve learned several new English words. When the animals are in the face of natural disaster, they work shoulder to shoulder to overcome difficulties. We can also learn from them, as a student, we should help each other, teamwork is necessary in our daily study. As an English saying goes “many hands make light work".
