     Today, I read this book, mainly about a forest there are many birds. They sing, play and feel very happily. Nick is a small and black swift. He also lives in the forest, but he doesn't look happily. Do you know why? Because he was very lonely and shy in front of all his friends, one day he met a magpie. Nick thinks his tail is like a pair of scissors and he want to have a tail like a magpie too. Nick finds some peacock feathers and decorated tail feathers. At last it looked long and beautiful, but the feathers were too heavy for it. Nick loses his balance as he flies in the sky. Nick meets the parrot again. Nick thinks the parrot is beautiful. Nick finds paint and paints his feathers in bright colors. But during one of his flights, it rains and washes away his paint. Nick turns black again. Just as Nick is sad, a newborn baby bird falls from the nest, Nick saves the bird and is not sad anymore.

     After reading this story, I understand that people should see their own and other people's strengths and weaknesses, do not act blindly.
